The little black dress is the epitome of sophistication and has become a staple in every woman’s closet. Because of this, we couldn’t help but make our own take on the little black dress!
Chanel revolutionized fashion with the little black dress when she published a photo of a short (by short we mean calf-length) black dress in Vogue. It was “Chanel’s Ford,” a dress that was accessible to all women. Chanel’s intention was to make this little black dress a uniform for all women. We say revolutionary because at the time, black was only worn at times of mourning.
Fast forward a few decades and Audrey Hepburn popularizes the “Little Black Dress” in Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Let’s face it, everyone can picture Audrey Hebpurn with her black dress, cat-eye glasses and pearls.
How can you resist getting a modern version of this? We definitely cant!
