The Atlanta Diaries: A 2tee Couture & Noa Elle Takeover!

Atlanta

Atlanta, the ninth largest metropolitan area in the United States is home to the Atlanta Apparel Mart. Each season designers and buyers meet under one roof to preview the latest collections from independent labels such as Noa Elle and 2tee Couture.

The Noa Elle collection turned heads this season. This sophomore collection from 2tee Couture received amazing recognition and we couldn’t be happier. The Holly Fringe shorts were also showcased on the runway this season!

At night the stars came out and the catwalk was in full effect. We enjoyed a haute runway show.

We even caught customers wearing 2tee Couture and Noa Elle this week! The best part is seeing how much fun everyone has styling our brand!

When we come to Atlanta we always go to Ray’s! It is a 2tee Couture tradition. The food is always amazing.

The 2tee Couture family was definitely charmed by the southern hospitality given to us on our trip. Until next time ATL, xoxo.

2tee Couture at Dallas & Atlanta Market

Just recently the 2tee Couture team packed up and headed to the Dallas and Atlanta Apparel Markets. This year our team was blown away by the warm welcome and excitement surrounding the new Noa Elle line presented by 2tee Couture at Atlanta Apparel.

The people of Atlanta joined us in a stunning fashion show. The runway was taken over by 2tee Couture and the crowd was buzzing about the gorgeous devision line that is Noa Elle.

We were happy to see familiar faces. Cindy from True Blue Boutique stopped by Dallas wearing the 2tee Couture Savannah top! 2tee Couture designer Sigal Levi wore the new Taylor Tribal with white denim.

Our customers always look beautiful in our clothing. We are extremely blessed to be able to meet them in Dallas! Mary from True Blue Boutique wore 2tee Couture’s Lilly top and designer Sigal Levi wore the Angel top.

Market Recap: Atlanta and Dallas Market April 2013

It’s been crazy over here at the 2tee Couture – but the good kind of crazy!

The past month we went to Atlanta and Dallas again to show our new Summer 2013 line. We were SO nervous this time around because we decided to take a few risks with the line and it was our first time in a new location at Atlanta Market.

We kicked off Market season in Dallas and our excitement levels were sky-high because we love that city! To our surprise, Dallas Market started their own runway shows just like Atlanta (score!!). Everyone knows we love our runways. And guess what? They did a phenomenal job.

Because we changed our booth decor, it took us some time to set up. We were so exhausted by the time we arrived at the Hilton Anatole. However, once we arrived we noticed one of our Fall 2012 houndstooth dresses were on display and our spirits were raised again!

We can never really seem to get used to items selling out at the first market – it’s an incredible feeling, but it tends to get our stress levels up because we worry about getting new styles for the next show. Luckily, we have a brilliant designer who works her magic and keeps us prepped for every show!

Atlanta was a bit different this time because it was the first time we previewed our Gameday collection in April. Luckily, the reception on our preview was great (phew!). We were more than pleased to see all the work and effort that went into the line pay off. Atlanta Market also put together a large Gameday party for all the buyers and exhibitors – food, DJ’s, fashion show,  friends… How could you go wrong?

Can we also talk about our new location?! We. Are. In. Love!! We moved to the Premiere floor which made us more accessible to buyers and we were discovered by several new buyers. We also continued to use our vibrant booth design and kept our designs on the runway.

We enjoyed mingling with customers, new and old. More than anything though, we loved seeing the positive feedback from everyone.

January market tend to be the largest out of the five in the year. The holidays are long gone and that means that retailers are looking to restock and bring in new and fresh apparel to their stores.

This year Dallas and Atlanta markets overlapped and out team had to split up – but no worries! We managed to pull it off and let us say that all of our hard work for the past three months have completely paid off!

As our followers know, our company has changed SO MUCH. The more we grow, the more we change – and for the better. This time around, we decided we’d upgrade our booth’s decor. Let’s face it, it’s practically our home for about 4 days and we’re all about aesthetics and feeling comfortable.  All our new decor went to our space in Dallas. We found these beautiful mint and mocha drapes and beige shaggy rug that made a huge difference. We were amazed by how many people told us the drapes made them stop by our booth!

Our best selling top with our new Aztec leggings!

This spring we decided we were going to use bright colors that make you pop. We renewed our top and leggings combo and added a few more loud prints to the collection. Here’s the best part: we SOLD OUT of all our prints. That’s great news for our designer because it meant she could run to our fabric houses on Monday to make new designs – so look out for new styles that will be coming out soon!

Thursday night, we knew the Atlanta Apparel market would be 80’s themed. We were definitely surprised to find a live 80’s rock band playing for us. Drinks, appetizers and live music after a day of work is always perfect!

The following Friday, they set up a 30-minute runway show for us. Yes, it’s our favorite part of market (aside from mingling with our clients!). We saw lots of black and white and corals/mints… This spring has to be an interesting one 😉

Oh and we just had to throw this picture in. One of our team member’s dog absolutely refused to let her pack for Atlanta. He didn’t let her close her suitcase – he thought he was coming with!! Maybe next time he’ll join?

Our team member's dog didn't want her to leave!!
